For What Shall it Profit a Man [Woman]?

Lately, as I have been trying to keep up with technology, which I have discovered is impossible, I have
been taking online classes, pinning on pinterest, posting on instagram, updating my Creative Suite,
reading about the latest, greatest, newest iphone, itouch, ipad, and then apps for the phone/touch/pad,
learning how to calendar and sync for time management, and trying to keep up with updates, updates,
updates....AND then I enjoy reading Graphic Design articles & DIY posts....AND there are so many
great blogs out there....AND what about Twitter?  Should I join Linked IN?  I have also been researching
Wacom Tablets.  Which one is the best for me?  Meanwhile, how do I change the ink in my new printer?
Why is ink so expensive?  I wish I knew more about scanning.  More info. and know-how needed!!

It is never ending!  I could spend all my time learning how to manage time, pin on pinterest, edit
in Photoshop, use my camera, update apps, manage my fonts, purchase the latest & greatest & most
modern technology and gadgets, gadgets, gadgets....programs, applications, tools, blogging tricks,
photo tricks, etc. AND on and on and on....

I was feeling a little overwhelmed with all of this when I opened my scriptures to:
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
 and lose his own soul?"
Mark 8:36

And I said to myself, "I know!  Exactly."

Note to self:
Don't let time pass you by, while your nose is connected to the computer screen or a gadget.
The weather is so beautiful.  LOOK outside.  GO outside.  ENJOY your family.  BE present.
LIVE life.  Exercise!  Get out the sketchbook.  Talk to your neighbor.  Finish the beaded bracelet.
Start knitting that vest.  Cook.  Smile.  Collect fall leaves.  BREATHE.  At the very least, change
out of your pajamas and go get the mail.
